Li Xiaorong

Professor, MD, Surgeon

M.D.&Ph.D, professor and director of the division of Thyroid Surgery and Gastroenterology Department in the Third Xiangya Hospital, doctorial advisor. He has successively posts the member of the Committee of General Surgery and Minimally Invasive Endoscopy, China Endoscopy Doctors Association, member of Hunan Medical Association of General Surgeons. He also works as editor for China Journal of Modern Medicine, China Journal of Endoscopy, Chinese Journal of General Surgery, European Journal of Surgical Oncology and so on.

Prof. Li headed over 20 research projects, including national and provincial projects. He has published more than 40 pieces of papers which 27 were included in SCI, and he compiled 10 books and book chapters. He also won several research grants of provincial and national level.
