Hematology

Established in 1995, as a key discipline of hospital and Central South University, our Hematology Department is an integral part of the 3rd Xiangya Hospital of Central South University which emphasizes clinical care, research and teaching. As of December in 2015, our division has successively won more than 50 reseach projects at all levels and received 15 awards including ministerial level scientific and techonological progress award. Our clinical drug institution was fully accredited and acquired by SFDA and Ministry of Health in our country which made us the third institution acquired by AAHRPP in mainland China.

• Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
• Thrombosis

With the rapid development in late years, our division has made a great success on giving you diagnosis and treatment services of blood disorders, including:

• Leukemia
• Cardiovascular disease
• Lymphoma
• Multiple myeloma
• Myelodysplastic syndrome
• Aplastic anemia
• Myeloproliferative disease

With more than 400 articles and papers published and over 40 authorized books and book chapters complied, the Department was achieved great success on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, thrombosis and haemostasis and  adoptive cellular immunotherapy.  In 2013, our division set up general ward and ematopoietic stem cell transplantation ward with over 75 authorized beds.

At Hematology Department, with more than 37 hematologists, physicians, experts and other health care professionals, we are proud of our accomplishments that we’ve made and lot of nationally and internationally programs that we have participated, but this only pushes our harder and harder to reach a higher level.
